Initial layer not adhering/ dragging of filament
New user when it comes to printing. I recently purchased a Ender 5 Pro from amazon. I have set the printer up and all looks well (from what i can tell there isnt any damaged parts)I'm using the PLA given with the printer still to print the upgrades such as support arms.I am using the Creality Slicer to generate g code. This causes a small lump in that area that later on gets caught by the nozzle.I will get a video of this soon

It appear that you need to add a retract on Z hop.
This will take pressure off the extruder when not printing.

I also have an issue where when the printer first finishes warming up, it auto homes (even though its set at home already) and taps the z axis twice during this, on the final closure of the gap it simultaneously moves to the skirt line and extrudes at the same time causing filament to build up on the nozzle and later be deposited.
I will get a video of this also

Sounds like your Slicer has some Startup G-Code that you should also post so we can see if we can help make it better also.

the weird thing about the print noxxle and distance from the bed is that:
1) Much too close- nothing happens, extruder will often start to 'click' - nozzle is blocked by the bed and back pressure causes the extruder to skip.
2) too close, filament either doesn't stick or is badly flattened - also flat first layers can look wrinkled. Can cause nozzle to blob and drag filament around because the nozzle stays in contact.
3) Just right - nice sharp. thin looking bead, sticks well first layer is flat.
4) little bit too high. Often outlines don't print correctly and any fine first layer parts often don't stick. Print will 'usually' work, but can often come detached and bottom layers is not 'clean'.
