    Identify a printer.

Are these a kit, Home made, or started life as an assembled printer? Cant find and name or logo. Not new to printing, just assembling or repair. These were donated to a shared makerspace, and I would like to get them working. We have a Lulz mini and Taz6, but they always have issues,.

can't see the extruder setup - but it looks like you have dual z-screws and side rails for the bed.

If it also has a direct drive extruder then it could well be an adimlab - or a clone thereof: https://www.amazon.com/ADIMLab-Assem...975672&sr=8-15

basically it's an i3 with full (assuming direct drive) prusa specs.
So a pretty decent place to start.

For simplify3d pretty much any i3 profile will work.
    Likewise for cura.

Given it has no logo - could also just be a homemade system.
what motherboards are they using ?

But on that brief glimpse I'd say you'd done alright for a couple of freebies :-)

Not sure if this helps. The bigger dual has a European style power plug with round pins.

The printer on the right is homemade. The frame is a kit from ebay. I have the same frame kit i built my 3 color mixing printer with. It is not a bad frame with some careful reinforcements. The melamine wood it is made from transmitts acoustics a lot less than the all metal frames that just love to transfer vibrations. They can come out nice with some care. I assembled my ebay frame kit in 2016 and detailed it with a bunch of pictures in this thread right here: https://www.digitalcorvettes.com/thr...-stuff.270130/ . And then I have been having non stop fun with that ebay frame kit for the last 4 years non stop. And i detailed all that right here: https://3dprintboard.com/showthread....Mixing-Printer . The bigger IDEX printer is better for sure, but that smaller black machine can be a good machine. If you need or want my frame supports let me know and i will share all the files and you can print and brace up that frame.

Why I am trying to get the maker/kit whatever narrowed down is because some printed parts are warping and de laminating. could possibly find upgrades on thingiverse. Also the aluminum extrusion blocks seem extra small and loose. These are things I would like to sort before even hooking up power. These were literally dropped on our doorstep. The kit frame mentioned above was dropped off with a bunch of parts in a box. The space may be home to the largest "hang printer" in USA. But people have their own stuff going on and 2 more printers are not high priority.

I could fix that printer. Rework it over with some beefier parts, toss a 32 bit controller, a touchscreen, and some tmc2209 drivers at it. Maybe a pair of E3D Hemera extruders. I'm telling you I would OWN that printer. Send me that printer and a bunch of money and i will return to you a damn decent IDEX machine calibrated with the latest Marlin. 2.0.5.3

So I found out its a FLsun. I3. Printing a few parts to beef it up before attempting to hook it up. Its really flimsy and Z motor mounts are pathetic.
