Wiring for filament detector
Hello all
I just cannot find the wiring diagram (that I can trust) for the filament detection connection.
I believe it plugs into X Min. Its a 4 pin socket, but does anyone know the connections, so that I can add my own microswitch?
The cables plugged in are red, black, green and black again.
Red is +5v, 2 centre pins linked as 0V? and the bottom pin maybe the signal?
Signal is held high with a 10k (using NC), and then taken low with a NO? That is what I thought the connections were, but reverse engineering one of the other limit switches... that doesn't look to be the case.
Any help greatly received.

what board/priter are you using.
I did notice that the mks robin board on my sapphire pro has a specific socket for the filament run out sensor (I didn't bother using it).
That just uses a standard endstop with the two wires.
I suppose it depends if you are using a filament sensor that registers movement or one that just checks to see if the switch is closed.
