Well i wouldnt realy recommend a Delta Printer as first printer tbh,
It would be better if you went with a more standard printer and maybe use its parts later on for a Delta if you realy want so.
Thats just my opinion tho ^^
I also like Delta's quiet alot,
Owye, I do have to say if you realy want a deltaprinter, I do think you could start with a DeltaPrintr (google it)
It should be well instructed etc.

Did I forget to mention that the second annual 3D Printer ShootOut is coming out in November from MAKE Magazine? I can't wait to see what they have to say about the new printers! (Well, actually, I have read some of the reviews already because they flew my son out to CA to be one of the testers ) So if you are in the market for a new printer, make sure you read this special edition so see how all the new Bots fared!

Personally, I think the most bang for the buck is currently the Solidoodle 3. It has a much larger print volume than the Printrbot Jr. It has a heated print bed. Plus, it's about $900 fully assembled.
