on Indiegogo it was $200, on Kickstarter $320 (200 British Pound) !!!

I wouldn't give them any money. They haven't shown any actual scanning or software. You see a laser show going on. Then you see a 3D rendering of the vase on the laptop. Doesn't add up.
I'm no electronic engineer, but this is a very basic looking PCB.

What ever happened with the Rubicon 3d scanner? It ended up getting funded, but I haven't really heard anything about it since. Have they shipped out any of their scanners yet? Do they work?

They are expected to start being delivered in the beginning of May, so this should only be a couple of week away. I'll be interested to see what feedback is on these. Will it perform as good as the Digitizer? The price tag is certainly attractive.
