Mirror image the Wires
Red, Black, Brown Blue
I use a Spare Computer Power Cord because it has 3 Wires,
If you look at the first photo you can see the Colored Marker labels
Brown = L
Blue = N
Green = Ground symbol
This must have been totally scary when the sparks flew.
This should not have burned up the Supply, but if it did should be under warranty.Last edited by Roberts_Clif; 03-06-2019 at 07:58 PM.

Red to Plus
Black to minus
Brown to line
Blue to neutral
Power switch to 120Vac
This look correct.

Where are you? Do not be exact Country is enough.
The power supply could have been destroyed, by incorrect wiring get a replacement under warranty.

Do you have a multi-meter?
If so could you measure the resistance across the GND symbol, N and L terminals.
This is the 3 right most terminals on the Connector Strip.
With no wires connected measures across the three terminals there should be no resistance.
It any resistance is measured between any of the 3 pins then the power supply is shorted.
I would try to power the Supply with nothing connected to the plus and minus terminals.
An only connect the L and N terminals for this test if the LED on the circuit board does not light then Controller could be bad.Last edited by Roberts_Clif; 03-08-2019 at 05:57 PM.

Ok new power supply has been hooked up, and installed a 3 wire 3 prong plug. The power supply works great now. Fans kick in and all. Now I started going through the repetier program for the printer. I can load the file and go through all the slicer part (using cursa) but the bed and extruded do not heat and it just doesn?t move. (I did calibrate with home button etc. and swapped wires Incase I got something backwards) but still can?t print. Anything I should look for? Sorry for all the issues. This is literally brand new to me and I?m trying to learn this

Ok. So I have filament moving through the nozzle and comes out perfect but the printer itself does not move for some reason. I loaded a small file to print. Went through slicer. Gave me a time. Hit start and it just sits there with filament coming out.

Do you know what the Controller for your 3D Print is.
We should try something simple. Auto Home the printer.
Then using the LCD move the X,Y and Z to there extremes a little at a to say 10mm increments.
Then return them to there home positions in 10 mm increments until they have returned to home.
If you can do this, then we need to setup the Slicer program to work with the 3D Printer.
If you cannot then we need to check out how smoothly the X-Y axis travel is.
The Y carriage should be easily moved with power off as well as the X axis nozzle assembly carriage .Last edited by Roberts_Clif; 03-10-2019 at 07:41 PM.
