First print, total failure !
Hello there, first post here.
I just bought a 3d printer => Geetech prusa i3 b.
I mounted myself ( a pain in the arse ) and i'm triyng to print the famous boat, the benchy one.
Here's my settings ( i've tried Repeteier host and sclic3r or Cura ) :

And that's the results..

Any tips? about the settings? Problem seems to be when i print very other layer but the first one which seems reasonable enough.
Thanks in advance!

I would start with is the 3DBenchy the correct size.
Measure the width and the length, the will tell you if the 3D Printer is printing to scale.
If not to scale check your settings in the your slicer, below are my Printer settings.
Cura top Menu
Click Settings
Select Printer Click
Select Manage Printers
Click Machine Settings

Not sure what firmware G-Code Geetech prusa i3 should use
My bed Print area is 220 x 270 x 185mm
M420 S1 and M220 S32.0000 may not apply to the your Geetech prusa i3, these are for my Auto bed leveling data restore function.Last edited by Roberts_Clif; 10-25-2018 at 06:42 AM.
