How to level your build plate (platform) on your 3D Printer
I found this video on Makergeeks.com and found it extremely useful so I thought I'd share
It explains how to level your build platform, for those that are wondering.

Good info; does this apply across the majority of manufacturers?
This is not how the Hyrel bed is leveled.
If this is specific to this brand of printer, it should be in a forum specific to this brand.

Hmm, I don't know. I thought it was mostly the same for all printers, but I do own the specific one in the video so I guess I could be wrong...

The information about how to use the card is universal.
I notice that at the start of the video he talks about using the bed-leveling function of the machine. That sounds like it is a feature of the firmware. If you are using Marlin firmware, then there is a new version which a has a bed leveling routine. You have to fit some other components.
We are discussing this modification in the MakerFarm forum, but you will get the idea from these videos:

We use a sheet of paper to set the Z height for the tool we have loaded, but first we load a dial gauge in the tool slot to level the bed.
