I have a question.

Can they really guarentee the no shrinking? I am printing really big object 10". I am assuming you have printed them, so what is the catch beside the low glass transition temperature?

Every formula of pet is different but as a general rule it warps about the same a pla. The advantage over pla though is strength, insane layer bonding on most and a glass point very close to abs.

And most of the reports I've seen have said the warp is even less than PLA.

Build plate can be heated or not (depends on brand).
Can be printed on glass without any glue*
Does not absorb water or moisture from air, so no storage container needed.
Clear color is the most transparent of all filament materials.
Is much "tougher" that PLA or ABS; will bend before breaking.
Uses about the same extruder temps as ABS.
Does not need a print cooling fan like PLA does.

Okay - has anyone else used the colorfabb xt ?

Because it stunk up my workshop much worse than abs.

Yes it printed well, clean and sharp and it was tough, stiff and flexible enough for the parts i made. But by god did it smell when printing.

It's the only pet I've tried so far - but no way in hell could it be called odour free.

i have printed a couple spools of it. i noticed no odor whatsoever. what was the color? maybe the colorant was giving off the odor...just a guess. i used black and white. while xt is nice its not my favorite pet.

Actually the warp of petg is higher than PLA.
