Small Changes In Model - School Project
Hi guys,
Thank you for stopping by to help me out. I am a student and in my Robotics project im looking to use a premade model that I found online. The thing is that I need to make a small change in the model but I dont have any experience with 3D modeling.
Model Link: https://hackaday.io/project/25092-ze...nu-description
What I need is just to remove all the inner connections in the upper and lower part of the body (I have to put in there other parts that need different spacing).
Example: https://prnt.sc/ghe20x - Hope this makes sense, if not Ill try to explain better.
Basically what Im trying to have is an empty body (Besides the upper and lower body connectors) that I could put in my own electronics.
Again thank you for taking your time to help, its much appreciated!

Hi,
It looks quite simple, so it's just the dozen or so divider bosses you want to remove?
You can always print this and cut the bosses manually.
Otherwise Blender has a good boolean modifier that you can use to subtract a box shape from the master model.
That will be your homework
Keep us updated!
