Thanks, build volume is x 300 y 300 z 280 but I currently have Z-axis limited to 200 in firmware right now. No, while i am using openbuilds V-slot. The z axis lead screws and nuts are the 10mm ones from a mendel max and the x and y axis are custom order from misumi.

I would dearly love to get rid of the Y axis belts on the two MM3s I work on. Slippage on those is the biggest problem with prints I've run into, on them.

My son wanted a new printer to take to the Midwest Reprap Convention last month so he built a Wilson 2.

Then he came back with a SEEMECNC Rostock MAX2 which he finished building last night. Both have huge built areas and are built like tanks!

I posted pics in the RepRap forum and they come out fine, I post in this thread and they are sideways? Don't know why?

I have 2 printers. First I bought and assembled a geeetech prusa i3 pro b and have been modding it since..
And this is the bigger better printer I made with the i3..
I have the 3 primary colors loaded into this mixing extruder so I can toy around with printing in more than 3 colors. for those interested my build thread for the i3 is here:

And my build thread for the 3 color mixing printer with 300x200x200 build envelope is here:

That is not a picture of 'Your' printer. That is a picture of a product being reviewed.

I have had my FlashForge Creator Pro (2016) for over a year now and have been through many spools of filament. I found things I think we should all know and things I might not know. We should post our finds and our mistakes. I have a lot to share which will take some time to type but I wanted to start this since we all might have the same experiences. Below are mods or upgrades:

Here's my reprap i3 clone. Sold by CTC as a "DIY" i3 reprap Pruisa. This was/is my first 3d printer. Bought off ebay September 2016. The price was cheap (I thought) then but now I see the same DIY kit going for less than 1/2 what I paid in 2016.
