itty bitty dual extruder with mismatched hot ends possible?
NOOB question.
Can I use a 1.75mm hexagon and 3.00mm hexagon hotend on the itty bitty dual extruder at the same time? Is there an issue with calibration? Just curious...
thanks
I tried to search the forum but i didnt find any answers or i just dont know how to search the correct terminology..
THanks

The filament pathway is sized for one or the other filament diameter depending on the extruder body .stl version you printed. so the extruder body can't do 2 different diameters as designed. it might be possible to drill out a 3mm diameter extruder body to 4mm and insert a liner, but it's tricky because the filament path is curved. I think the flex version has a straight filament path so that's a possibility.
The hotends are interchangeable, just need to be set up to the same length and level out the X-Carriage.
