The objet machines are nice but the consumable cots are high. One of their FDM printers should be in that range. I know the Uprints are well below that bottom number as I just had one quoted. Also Stratasys will lease equipment. They are about the most reliable machines out there. They have a proven disolvable support material and are very accurate.

If you are looking for a range of materials to use than you will want an enclosed heated chamber and bed. That will lbe more difficult to find with a large build platform.
