Best Printer for around 1000-1500?

Basically what the title states, Ive had a cube and have had many many problems with it. I'm getting rid of it, and wanted to hear everyone's opinions on that price range.

Please go and do some searching and make yourself a very short list of the makes that meet your printing requirements. Then see if that make of printer is listed on this site. Read what the actual users say about the makes on your list. After that, you can put here specific questions that can't be answered elsewhere.
