3D Printed Boat Decal (with PLA)
I just saw this on Reddit. Do you guys think this will hold up in salt water and constant sunlight? It's a boat decal.
All in all, I think it's a great idea, but I don't know if the PLA will really last. What do you guys think?

Are the letters glued onto the base? If so, what king of glue? Intense sunlight won't be good, I guess it depends on if the Boat is in Miami or in Michigan.

even if its no in the heat too much, pla just starts to degrade right away when its out side. between the UV and the moisture and in this case the salt......pla is not the plastic of choice for this at all. abs or pet would be much better. i did a custom emblem for a hot rod a while back. that was all abs and will be primed and painted
