Wildlife photographer Jeff Cremer used a drone, camera, and 3D modeling software to create a 3D printed replica of Lima, Peru's 122-foot-tall Jesus statue known as "Christo del Pacifico" or "Christ of the Pacific." After he got over 100 quality photos of the statue at many angles and levels, he used Altizure to generate a 3D map from the drone photos. From there, he used Autodesk Memento to slice everything away but the statue and its base, and he uploaded it to be 3D printed by Sculpteo, because he prefers Sculpteo's services and user-friendly website.
