Touch Mapper, a new application currently in beta, is a tool that creates 3D models out of online map data. Designed for the visually impaired, the models can either be 3D printed at home or ordered to be delivered. The maps contain tactile representations of streets, buildings, railways and bodies of water, with careful delineations and markers to help visually impaired people orient themselves in outdoor spaces. All you need to do is enter an address to create your model, and you're good to go anywhere. Read more at 3DPrint.com: http://3dprint.com/121736/3d-printed-tactile-maps/
