Two Friends Create An open Source Violin For Your Enjoyment
An Open Source 3D Printed Violin
3D Printing continues to unleash the creativity of thousands of people around the world. David Perry and friend, Dan Nicholson, have developed an Open Source violin (fiddle). David purchased a 3D Printer after attending a Maker Faire event and set out to try and create a functional object. The F-F-Fiddle was designed using Autodesk’s Fusion 360 CAD design software and further manipulated and prepared for a 3D Printer using a combination of Netfabb Basic, Slic3r, KISSlicer, and Repeteir-Host.
