MIT's Multifab 3D Printer - 15 Materials Compatible
MIT has been able to construct a 3D printer for under $7,000 which is capable of printing with 10 different materials within a single build. The system which is incredibly precise and has an integrated 3D scanner, which acts to scam objects for replication as well as providing a feedback loop to the machine, making sure the object being printed is being done so correctly, is highly advanced. The team at MIT's CSAIL are now looking to dollop new materials for this printer they call the Multifab.
