UK-based NFire Labs, founded by Alex Youden, will soon be launching a truly innovative 3D printer on Kickstarter. Their machine, the NFire One, is billed as the "world's first truly modular 3D printer," allowing the delta-style machine to be updated on a component-by-component basis. Produced using local suppliers--including Hull-based Ino-Plaz, which supplies the plastic casing for the frame, and E3D for the extruders--the NFire One will be offered starting at the impressive low cost of £250 (approximately $389). The Kickstarter campaign will launch on July 27th, with a launch party in Hull, England for those who'd like to celebrate the campaign and meet founder Alex Youden.
