A new startup out of South Korea was on hand at Inside 3D Printing in Seoul this last week. There they unveiled their new 3D printer, the Morpheus. The Morpheus 3D printer uses resin, but is not considered SLA. Instead they use a new process called LIPS technology, similar to Carbon3D's CLIPS technology, only not continuous. The printer is very large for a resin machine, with a build envelope of 13" x 7.1" X 7.9" and can print quite rapidly. Priced at $3,800 it may be out of the budget for some, but considering it's size, rate of printing and resolution (25 - 300 microns), it seems like a decent deal.
