In a Youtube video, Taofledermaus displays how a brass headed mini-arrow with 3D printed base and sabot does on the firing range. With only three shots to get it right, the first two are shot at a target 15 yards away, yielding good results. For the final shot, the target was 30 yards away, giving the arrow the time and space it needed to take flight. The only downside is that so many of the arrow parts are black that it's hard to tell what' what when the arrow impacts the target. Otherwise, this is a great example of 3D printing aiding the ballistics side of 3D printed firearms. More info on these rounds can be found here: http://3dprint.com/66831/3d-printed-shotgun-rounds/
