Michael Graham of Engineer Dog, an engineer interested in testing a multitude of 3D printed parts, as well as many others, has created the TestrBot--which can be made for just $300. The device is almost completely 3D printed except for a number of parts which can be purchased at the local hardware store or ordered online. The TestrBot is able to test precisely and accurately for force and displacement and is fairly easy to assemble, with the exception of the controls, for which Michael provided circuit diagrams.
