Robo Kitty v1.0
This is probably one of my favourite prints so far and came out almost as good as I was hoping, still needs many tweaks but so far so good.
The original low poly rigged figure was from Sanctum art and was made in about 2009 and was designed for poser. Sadly, poser relies on smooth shaders to get that smooth effect, and in reality the models are relatively low poly. Converting this kitty was pretty difficult I have to admit, bits didn't fit, other bits didnt sculpt well... some things like the solid rings and sharp details needed to be carved over as they didn't come out well... I was ideally trying to get this to print as well as possible, without sanding and other rubbish (but as it turned out did need a good light sand) but ultimately it has come along pretty well. Next step is making all the joints moveable, not just the arms and head.
15 hours printing, 2-3 hours painting, 3/4 cups of sweat and tears, 1/4 cup blood.
Printed on a Flashforge Original Dual.
