When AJ Perez, Forrest Pieper, Mateo Peña Doll, and Chris Haid were all living in a fraternity at MIT, they decided they needed a 3D printer -- so they built one themselves. That prototype became the NVBOTS NVPro, and it's now what they say is the only fully-automated 3D printer on the market. Their company recently completed a seed funding round which amounts to $2 million, and they say the funds will be used to undertake further development and marketing of their innovative printer. NVBOTS has also seen some leadership milestones, including a Forbes mention and now a new member on the company's board of directors, Dr. Michael Foley.
