3D Systems' Gentle Giant Studios and Medical Modeling divisions got a call from the producers of the hit ABC hospital drama "Grey's Anatomy," and the show runners asked them to create a 3D printed heart and lung model for an episode in the show's 10th season. In just four days, the team created an anatomically correct model for use on the show, and the day was saved (at least on the small screen).
