Anouk Wipprecht is a designer who creates work on the bleeding edge of 'wearable fashion.' Her projects, from the electrically-charged Faraday Dress to the Synapse Dress, are examinations of what fashion means when it's melded with the latest in 3D printing and electronic technologies. Wipprecht's latest, the Spider Dress, reacts to stimulus in the environment surrounding the wearer to either beckon or attack anyone nearby accord to the vibes their putting out. It took five months to build, and the reactions of the 'animatronic' dress are drive by an Intel Edison chip.
