Andrew Maynard has just released a set of articles from a thesis paper in Nature to an article at Slate which both address the reasons why artificial intelligence is not in our immediate future, but why it may be possible with 3D printing, combined with nanotechnology — as molecular manufacturing and 3D printing with various electronics may take scientists where they need to go in the still relatively uncharted world of artificial intelligence. What are your thought? Will a 3D printed brain along with artificial intelligence be here sooner than many may think?
