Researchers Simon Olberding, Michael Wessely, and Jürgen Steimle from the Max Planck Institute for Informatics and Saarland University in Germany have created PrintScreen, a thin interactive display device that can be used for numerous fun and helpful applications such as interactive print products, digital signage, smart objects, and personalized computing devices, as well as arts and crafts. Scientists and researchers can also benefit from the mobile computer interfaces. It features a lightweight design that the user can customize and print at home, affordably and in volume, with high quality.
