need a dehumidifier
I bought 1 on Amazon that I assume is designed to bring humidity down to human comfort level. Can anyone tell me about dehumidifiers that are programmed to bring it farther down? my house air is soaking wet and after 3 hours out of my dryer the filament starts printing lower quality parts. I put it back in the dryer overnight and in the morning.... great parts again. I just got this dehumidifier yesterday so I haven't really experimented with it's effect on the prints yet, but I imagine if there are dehumidifiers available that bring the room down to 30% it'd be better. it's a small room with a door that I can close, so I don't need to be drying a huge space.... i just want the small space as dry as possible. I'm printing TPU 85A parts, and that stuff soaks up water like crazy. I tried having it feed out of the dryer box into the extruder while printing, and could not get smooth feed like my prints had skipped/defective layers. Would love some feedback on all this! I'm in Kansas City and it's just a humid part of the country but the thing I'm making has to be soft filament. If a better drying box that can feed while printing is the answer, someone please show me some opinions to consider. I'm using a Bambu A1 printer.Sorry I know this post isn't the most organized and thankyou for feedback!
