3d printed pin socket that requires no soldering?
I'm trying to reduce parts in a build and wondered if it's possible to make a pin socket that does not require soldering and the pin is in contact with the wire itself? When I say pin I mean like a gpio pin. I have an idea in mind where the wire is squeezed in place and the stripped end of the wire is supported by a flexible section of the print that applies pressure towards the pin. Have anybody done something like this? I think the design would work but I'm sceptical about printing flexible sections that would not brake or deform over time.
