Partially 3D Printed KD-1 is World's Most Advanced Golf Driver Clubhead
Two divisions of the CRP Group and Krone Golf are working together, by combining additive and subtractive manufacturing, to create the world's most advanced golf driver clubhead: the KD-1, the first Windform SP 3D Printed Driver Clubhead with CNC machined titanium. The goal of a recent case study was to illustrate the design and construction of the driver on behalf of Krone, a world leader in custom engineered golf equipment. The body of the KD-1 was manufactured by CRP Technology's 3D printing department, using laser sintering and Windform SP additive manufacturing materials.
