Protecting The Environment While Learning about 3D Printing
The indigenous Yolngu community on the island of Milingimbi, off the coast of Australia, is learning about 3D printing while simultaneously cleaning up the island's trash. A new initiative, Project Plastic Fantastic from the Arnhem Land Progress Association, is allowing children to learn about technology by recycling the island's plastic into filament and using it to print toys, sunglasses and iPhone cases.
