Where does one go to find the most current version of Marlin
I want to see if some of the issues I have been having are related to the firmware. I am getting terribly inconsistent first layer performance. I want to try a newer version of the firmware but I have no idea where you get it from anymore.

git clone https://github.com/beckdac/Marlin.git
Not sure if you're looking for a specific build...

Absolute newest version is on github: https://github.com/MarlinFirmware/Marlin
Recent releases: https://github.com/MarlinFirmware/Marlin/releases
Not sure what is "most stable" though.
Since I'm using Clough42's IBFE I am running his copy of Marlin: http://clough42.com/instructions/marlin-firmware-setup/

Yah.
I could've sworn that I read that the version Makerfarm preloads is available somewhere as well, but can't seem to find it now. (EDIT: A version in a repo. I realize there is the MakerFarm zip file...)
I don't think the beckdac version is exactly that..., I think it tracks the MarlinFirmware version, but with Makerfarm's presets. Honestly, I haven't had time to figure it out for sure..., so I could be way off.

Yes, I too thought there was a github fork for maker farm that someone was updating. I have a good version now but I like to stay on top of things. Not sure if the EricZ version is the one that people are referencing.

No... The main development is now at: https://github.com/MarlinFirmware/Marlin
But for now... Stay away from the development branch. Use the release branch. The Development branch is not stable right now.

I see that the ABL Z probe offset is not working, according to the website. Is it working in the releases?
Nevermind, I see you answered that already in the "Air Printing" thread.

Hi Roxy:
I don't mean to be dense, but when you say "release branch", are you referring to whatever form a particular manufacturer releases their code in? Is there a particular repo you're referencing?
I ask, since "MarlinFirmware" only shows a "Development" branch...
Thx! -- John
