has anyone tried the diamond black build plate
hey guys im new to 3d printing and keep getting prints warping. i have tried all the tricks in the book with no great success.
has anyone tried the diamond black build plate. was thinking of buying one but it looks amateur and don't want to get ripped off

what filament you printing with and which printer and what settings are you using and what surface are you printing on ?
Start there and we can probably help you.

ive just bought the diamond black plate. im hoping it does what it says it does.

maybe im completely wrong, but it looks like the surface is pretty gritty... even a tiny imperfection will show on every print.

apparently you need to use a raft, i tend to anyway so dont really matter with me

the diamond black build plate has arrived the first issue i had was levelling the build plate as i had to tighten the screws all the way. apart from the i managed to print 4 parts today.
the first 2 parts was just the standard chain links that makerbot supplied on the sd card. printed them easy enough, then i printed the heart box that went fine.
but on a larger part i had to use binder clips as it wanted to pull the plate up.
all in all seems like a good solution to warping

so the plate is flexible enough to be bent by warping.
That right there is a definite problem.
