Cable fault (fixed)
First a quick hi, my first time posting here.
I've had my Creator Pro now a few days, and last night a large print task just died. Printer had lights on, display was backlit, but no text. Just dead.
After poking around the forum, there was no hints (fuse maybe, but that was it). When I moved the X-axis mechanism to the end-stop so it hit the switch, the printer sprang to life. When I moved it away, it went back to its sad state.
This morning, I swapped the cable to the end-stop (there was a spare cable in the kit that came with the printer), and all is good again. Here's a photo showing the old offending cable in place, and the stop switch in question.
Some questions:
1) Has anyone else run into this problem before?
2) Where can I get more cables from?

That looks like the standard computer motherboard fan connector. Try Micro-Center or other computer parts suppliers.
You know, the more I look at it the more I think it's an audio motherboard connector. You might have one from an old internal DVD drive.
Ok, still not sure but look at this. I think you might find it here. http://www.hrb-dg.com/category-17.htmlLast edited by RobH2; 01-02-2015 at 03:37 PM.
