3D Printed Eyes
Pretty interesting. These are 3D printed eyeballs which are used as medical implants. Fripp Design and Research in the UK hopes to commercialize these prosthetics. The craziest part of it all is that instead of the $3000-$3500 price tag for a prosthetic eye, the 3D printed versions will only cost about $100-$130. Even more remarkable is the fact that they can print 150 of these things an hour!

That's what is so great about 3D Printing. You can make custom items for the same price it costs (per item) of something you are making thousands of. 3D Printing is making customization cheap, no matter what it is.
