How in the hell would you print this??!
Hey guys,
Being relatively new at this, I thought I might ask here - sorry in advance if this is the wrong section.
I'm trying to print this: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:151997 (the third file preview across, it's standing up with two flat panels at ~30-45 degrees away from the body) at a 25mm mini-game scale.
I have tried multiple ways, using my Makerbot Rep2, but just can't get it to print without something goofing and causing problems!
Tried:
Upside down. right side up. No support. full support. Laid flat. Nothing!!
I really don't want to have to try printing this in halves! It will wreck it, but if I absolutely have to I have to.

Well i think it would be print able with PVA (support material that is disolveable in Water)
But after that meh, i wouldnt think that would be print able with a Extrusion printer.

I gotta agree with Luigi, an extrusion printer wont be able to print that properly. But a printer that uses plastic dust (or any other types of dust) may be able to print it nicely... I bet that shapeways will be able to help you there
