Flashforge Creator Pro - Issue Printing Hands
Hello all,
New to this forum so if there's a better place to drop this let me know! I have a question about the settings for the model I'm printing and how they relate to the issue I'm having. The file attempted is here (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:45...5QrCcAQzHfFeeU). I'm using a silk white PLA for the model and FlashPrint for the software.
Settings I used:
Supports:
Treelike
Overhang 55
Post diameter 2mm
Base diameter 6mm
Base height 6mm
Printer Settings:
Extruder temp 200C
Platform 50C
Thickness shell count 2 with 30% overlap
Fill Density 20%
Used a raft
Cooling fans on (when raft bottom printed)
The Issue:
When I print figures with hands I end up with a stringy mess. Doesn't seem to matter if I print big or small. I have a borosilicate bed I haven't installed yet so if its something with the default bed please let me know. Lastly, the door is open and the cover is off as recommended for PLA. If there are any other setup details required for your assistance I'm happy to provide them.

what speed did you use and what are your retraction settings.
Also - try printing something else at the same time.
Either another frog or something simple like pillar or square column the same height as the model.
have about 50mm between models. Too close to each other and you can risk increasing the stringing rather than reducing it.
Basically you've got stringing, which is usually related to: speed, temp and retraction settings.
