It's the product-making capabilities that make 3D printing such a fast-growth area, and one of the most intriguing of those product types is definitely robotics. This week at 2015 CES, some of the 3DPrint team have had a chance to check out some fascinating new developments, and at XYZPrinting's booth, the wall of robots was an immediate eye catcher. Their recently launched XYZRobots combine 3D printing with the DIY and robotics movements, and the first robots to emerge are called Supreme Robot Soldiers. The first two Supreme Robot Soldiers available are an Advanced Robot and an Intermediate Robot, each with a price tag of around $299 and highly customizable. XYZRobots provides the basic framework, and from there consumers can 3D print customized backbone and armor of their robots.
