Group Recreates New Star Wars Trailor With 3D Printed Props
The movie industry has become a showcase for incredible feats of 3D printing in prop shops and among set and costume design departments. While this particular use of 3D printing in a "movie trailer" may not be among the most sophisticated examples, it is an example of how filmmakers use the technology to create their amazing visions. Dumb Drum, the group behind last year's low budget remake of the teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has followed up with a remake of Lucasfilm's recently released full trailer.
