Singapore-based Mēkā uses 3D printing to create physical representations of memories. They are now working on the BuiltinSG project, which is commemorating Singapore's 50th birthday. The birthday for 2015 is a huge celebration, and BuiltinSG has the support of the Singapore Memory Project's irememberSGFund, as part of the Singapore50 celebrations. Mēkā is designing historical buildings that hold significance to Singapore and creating them in 3D models, which are also available for you to print at home via thingiverse. So far, the National Theatre, Jamae Mosque, and CHIJMES Church have been 3D printed.
