    CNBC's Logo 3D Printed

In May, CNBC's representatives got in touch with 3D printing company Shapeways -- it was time, the news broadcast company had decided, to showcase 3D printing. They set to work commissioning a company logo, which Shapeways designer Ryan Kittleson created for them. Working in Photoshop and Zbrush, Kittleson was able to create a hollow-center, one-piece print of the famous peacock logo. The sandstone piece was featured on Squawk Alley, airing on CNBC. It never occurred to me that the logo was a stylised peacock, I just thought it was a copy of the Greek Star channel logo.
