Help selecting my first digital calipers
Hi all,
I'm trying to research which digital calipers to get. Mitutoyo, Starett, and Brown & Sharpe seem to be the top contenders.
SPC Output with USB connection option is a must!
I'm thinking of going with the Mitutoyo 6'' and purchasing the data cable add on at a later time. Looks like these are the most economic option for this quality at just under $200.

The link below has a much cheaper option that looks like a clone. Anybody have experience with these?

If I buy the Mitutoyo calipers, would they work with Igaging's cheaper data cable package?
Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

- I love my Mitutoyo calipers, the measurements are so smooth. They do have a special connector, so I'm not sure if iGaging cable will work. The Mitutoyo cable details can be found in THIS pdf.
