Brides will go to many lengths to ensure they have a picture-perfect -- or at least picture-ready -- Big Day. Bride and blogger Kathleen Tuite and her groom Adam sought to create a Shapie from Shapify as their cake topper. Their model, though, turned out less than ideal, with Adam's foot too skinny and the colors dreary and off. Kathleen used her technical skills to "hack" the code from their 3D scan from Shapify's site, then took the code to a local 3D printer, Metrix Create:Space in Seattle, to have a new model made. The new model was all white, fixed Adam's foot, and was larger... and it looked great on their wedding cake.
