3Doodled Masks Just in time for Halloween

3Doodler, the 3D printing pen, has revamped their Community page of projects that can be created. The designs now include five masks that are perfect for Halloween; if you're among those who wait until the last minute to find your Halloween costume, here's a nice DIY that you can get started on now and have ready by tonight. The mask designs come with a 2D stencil, and it's up to the user to decide how 3D to make the mask as you build it up on top of the stencil. Five mask stencils are available now, including a snow wolf, a blood mask, a Chinese mask, a wild multi-eyed mask and a Masquerade mask. I'm quite impressed with some of the stuff people are making with the 3Doodlers now, it definitely shines when in the hands of actual artists.

By this time next year, there will be people trying their hand with this kind of art using the CreoPop and other SLA-based pens, which have a specifically skin-safe resin that they can use. It's exciting when I imagine what someone can make when they can safely draw the mask right onto the wearer's face.
