    Gigantic 3D Printed Frankenstein Head

Illinois-based 3DP Unlimited has created a new monster of monstrous proportions for Halloween. Using their flagship 3DP1000 3D printer, the company, over the course of 6 full days, printed up a huge (over 27" tall!) head of Frankenstein's monster. The head, printed with dimensions of 55.5 x 69.5 x 36.5 cm, is a sight to be seen. Weighing in at over 8.7 lbs (3.95 kg) the total material cost to print this head was approximately $220. The truly remarkable thing about this monster head is that it was printed all in one piece. Check out more details in the full article: http://3dprint.com/21613/3dp-unlimited-frankenstein

    Add Geoff on Thingiverse
And the head was modelled by Adam Beamish, thought I would mention that since no one else did.
