Katie Couric's Segment on 3D Printing!

Did Anyone here catch the "Katie" Segment on 3D Printing the other day. I thought ti was awesome and really puts the idea of 3D Printing into the mainstream media. I happened to be in a coffee shop with about 20 senior citizens in there watching the Katie Couric segment. It was interesting to watch and listen to their reactions to this segment. Pretty much all of them were amazed and seemingly never heard of 3D Printing. Many also expressed concern.

Very touching story! So incredible to see people collaborate over the internet to create a new hand for this boy. But doesn't it make you squirm just a bit at the end, knowing that the printer was a result of such collaboration too, yet they made it sound like Bre built it himself?

Awesome video. Glad to see big TV shows picking up on 3D Printing. The majority of people don't even know what 3D printing is. Some haven't even heard of it before.

I saw it and thought it was a good piece. I had followed that plastic hand development for some time.
