'Materialize' At Shemer Art Gallery

The Shemer Art Center of Phoenix, AZ, will present “Materialize: 3D Printing and Rapid Prototyping” from October 16-November 27th, 2014. The exhibition will feature 3D printed artworks by accomplished artists such as David Van Ness, whose 3D printed “Stacking Cows”and “Black Bulls” have been seen worldwide. The exhibit is being offered to the public in hopes to educate artists and the public about new digital tools used to create art, while emphasizing the impact 3D technology is making. Werby_Andrew_1.jpgI'm participating in this show as well, with my sculpture "Rubrum Viridis", printed on a SLS machine. I hope to be able to attend in person, but I'm not sure about that yet. I haven't figured out how to resize my tiny image here, but if you click on it you get a larger version that's more visible.
