The UK's Usher Gallery has a lot to offer with events regarding art and 3D printing right now, centering around Oliver Laric's Lincoln 3D Scans, the exhibit currently on display, which is the culmination of his work after winning the coveted Contemporary Art Society Annual Award with his proposal to create and publish 3D scans from the museum's archive. These scans are also available to the public to download and make their own creations through 3D printing, digital remastering, or just taking a gander. Laric's exhibit will be on display through October 26th. On October 24th, there will be a symposium, "3D Printing: The Creative Future," and on October 25th, the public is invited to 3D Printing Day at the museum.
